6.2L Yukon Denali normal like factory filter

Took no time to replace this if you need to replace the oil pressure sensor, I had a 2011 GMC Yukon Denali put the screw on top look first, what fits and then you can remove the one under the oil pressure sensor. Don't skip this step if you had a filter underneath when you replaced the oil pressure sensor and it was the same if you have a Denali 6.2.

Use a snap screw to remove, use a new one as a gauge of screw size to use

I think it works! I removed the old one on 190k and installed this one just because it was recommended. It's not easy to get there, but I have a secret. Get a lag screw and screw it into the old one, just pull it out. I used a 10mm bolt, but a bolt with aggressive teeth could have been better. Just make sure you get 4 inches or so, it's hard to get to. I disassembled mine and replaced it in less than an hour.

Removing the old one is tricky

It delayed my inlet rebuild but one day a shipment from Revain didn't do it too bad. I tried removing the old one with a master key. Yes, it didn't work very well. Poke a few holes in the metal mesh. In my opinion (and possible experience) it's best to remove it with a screwdriver that's slightly smaller than the hole. Since the screwdriver is conical, it has to wedge itself into the hole before it pops out (and pierces the screen), and with a little patience and jiggling, the old one should…

Just like the one he replaced but change the oil first.

We had a problem with our very high mileage 2007 Suburban 5.3L. The oil pressure gauge showed good readings until it warmed up and then randomly dropped to zero, although the engine ran fine with no sign of low oil pressure. We've had this issue before and fixed these symptoms by either clearing this screen or replacing the faulty sender box, so I ordered both parts because I didn't want to do the job twice (search YouTube for some good videos, like You can do this without having to remove the…

Fits perfectly, great price

Very happy with the purchase. This is suitable for most 5.3 liter GM Vortec engines if that engine is equipped with Active Fuel Management. AFM. Please note that the main purpose of this filter is to clean the oil entering the AFM elevators. it is not necessarily designed to protect the oil pressure sensor. This helps explain why GM placed it. together with the oil pressure sensor on the oil supply unit AFM. If your vehicle does not support the AFM function then this filter is not suitable as…
