Both sensors (left, right) did not survive the winter in the Russian Urals. The signal disappeared, the ABS switched off.

This part was installed on a Ford Escape in May 2020. Due to Covid the SUV was hardly driven until May 2021 and the part has already failed according to the DTC. Dorman claims a lifetime warranty on this part so let's see if they back up their claim and supply a replacement part.

I had to replace this ABS sensor after the tone ring broke 1000 miles after the factory warranty expired and ruined the original sensor. The sensor has stood 20,000 km and there are no problems with it. I am thankful for Dorman products as they usually outperform the OEM parts I repair. I can recommend this product. Well it's 18 months later and this sensor has FAILED. It looks like the tonal ring made contact with the surface of the sensor and rolled the plastic onto the sensor bars. I think…
