Not very easy to install and arrived broken. The locking mechanism was missing a component to properly retract the lock as shown in the two photos (locked and unlocked). Substitute.

Bought a lock to secure the roof access door. Went cheap because it opens maybe once a year. Well, I installed the lock and it was already broken. The bolt does not fully extend. Absolute rubbish. Replacement whip ordered. What a waste of my time. Please don't buy this.

We needed a two way lock for our doors because our kids were trying to explore unsupervised little stubborn boogers. This is a great way to make sure kids don't jump on you when you're not looking. However, make copies and leave a copy for someone else. I had to call my neighbor several times to let me out lol the only downside is the double sided lock.

Finally got around to installing this thing, by far the biggest piece of junk I've ever bought from Amazon. An absolute waste of time. Damaged when opened but didn't notice until I figured out why it won't lock with a key. A cheap piece of junk that I wouldn't trust to protect my family. Back immediately. I highly recommend you use a reputable brand if you need reassurance. Not this garbage.

Ordered for installation last year but project was delayed. So in February we tried to install a NEW lock and found that the key part of the lock would not release the key after turning it. The key also had just over 1/2 turn of free play (no action) before the lock moved the latch. I would return it for a replacement but it has been 90 days. Suggest when you buy this item, make sure it works properly before trying to install it.

Tried six times, read instructions and watched installation videos and repeated. The outer lock will work, but the inner one won't every time. Come to find out that he is defective. You sent the wrong lock for the salon. The key is not suitable for this page. I tested it before installing it and it just won't turn because it's the wrong lock. Great product. I am a single mom of 2 and decided to buy a double topper to keep my 3 year old indoors. He is a runner and loves to take every opportunity to get out of the house and explore.
