DRAW TITE 24756 Sportframe Receiver Review

Great clutch for my HHR. All assembly parts are included. Fastening only as shown. Other reviews complained that no drawbar was included. it's not just a hiccup.

I have driven over 1000 miles this year towing a single drawbar camper and have had no problems. Installation was a little tricky for me as one side is heavier than the other, but with enough grumbling it went ahead.

2010 HHR PANEL. Installs in less than 1 hour with basic hand tools. Comes with all mounting hardware for easy installation. Without drawbar or ball. Purchase drawbar and towing ball separately.

This is the second hitch I have installed on a compact car. Significant weight for what it is. Hardware package and instructions make installation easier. This weekend is exactly what matters. The net strength of the device is much higher than that of the frame of the vehicle for which these couplings are designed. This is a great light deadlift hitch.

I ordered this 24756 Draw-Tite Draw-Tite hitch with drawbar in June 2011 and it did not come with drawbar. I contacted Revain.com and they immediately sent another hitch and it arrived the next day. This is a good and heavy hitch but like the other review it didn't have a tongue. It's not a box, just a set of rods and bolts heat shrunk around the main frame, allowing the tongue to come loose or creep along the way. The set of bolts was barely hanging and fell into my hand as I picked it up. They need to pack the loose parts MUCH better, like POSSIBLE in a box?! In my application, the Chevy HHR, the low hitch height is always a problem, especially when using a truck instead of a trailer. Note that you will need something to increase the hitch height and might need an adapter, like 2 inch tongue anyway. All in all it's a great price and not too difficult to install, but if you don't have the patience or some mechanical skill ask the store to install it for you.
