My favorite Dremel pottery tool

I love this tool for cleaning small holes in my pottery where the glaze runs into. I put the pan under some water so it doesn't overheat.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Clarity

Ideal for marking metal parts.

This tip was purchased to mark parts with identification numbers. I've tried several forms and this is by far the easiest to use and user friendly. I thought the pointed ones would give better notes and easier control; However, the sharp tips are difficult to control and want to separate the part, and they don't penetrate deep enough to give good definition.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Some issues

Worked as expected, shank less than .125 "

I use this for pickling chrome and hardened steel. This worked really well, but I had to get a smaller collet for my Dremel tool because the bits I used to use had a 1/8" shank. I'm assuming this is a hobby tool rather than a professional tool that I received from a local industrial supply company before they went out of business. But he does his job the same way.

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Compatibility

Not like before

I use these bits for glass engraving and have been using original Dremel bits for years. They used to come in two packs, with a pencil tip and a pen tip. I prefer the wider ballpoint engraving, so I just threw away the pencil tips. Dremel recently changed their packaging and now only sells ballpoint pens. Since that's all I use, I bought a few. I used them today. My impression is that they just aren't as abrasive as the same bits in the old two-pack. At the end of today I realized that I went…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
