Silent heater for electric heaters

Winter is coming. When that happens, it gets very cold here. My family doesn't want to use an oven to save money, so I decided to buy this oil heater. To be honest I already have one. However, aside from warming up my room, it's seriously lacking in features. My old heater doesn't have a remote control or timer like the Dreo heater did. Very quiet, heats great but has a few design flaws

This heater heats my 12 x 12 foot living room with standard ceilings really well but there are a few design issues that I find problematic . At first I found it very difficult to insert the rollers when installing the heater. They were so resistant to bracketing that I even asked support for advice. I eventually found that I had to press hard while spinning to insert the reels. My main issues with this heater are with the controls. The board is finicky. It only works when pointed directly at…

Revised review. . . I actually like the heater but the cord is still only 6 feet instead of 10.

After writing this initial review I had a friendly correspondence with a company representative and he and I came with the perfect fit "workaround" for the 6ft cord, which was my only criticism of the heater. I've been using the heater for a few days now, it works great. I particularly like the ease of use of the remote control, as I often find it difficult to sit on the sofa to reach the heater itself. Finally there is a solution to warm the room, not just the legs

First of all, all radiators are no more than 1500 watts. You will not find a greater power than this. So the problem is how to heat a room with only 1500 watts. Normally you don't do that, just put a heater next to you and warm your feet with 1500 watts of heat while the room next to you is cold. Not very nice.
