They are pretty easy to put on, they match the pattern so you can't put them on wrong. Removing the old one wasn't so friendly. My problem, do-it-yourselfer, my driver's side wedge got caught in the hub (slide hammer and 4 lb sledge hammer didn't do anything). It didn't come off so I had to replace the C/V axle and steering knuckle. I had to remove it entirely, and with the mileage I had on the van (270,000), whatever I replaced should still be there.
