Another terrible quality product from DTSWISS. Not only are their spoke nipples of the lowest quality, but the strips on this specialty tool have the lightest torque. Even if you have the most expensive Apple nipples, you're either ruining the instrument or the soft alloy nipple.

Perfect fit for my wheel assembly. Annoying that DT Swiss has its own nipple wrench. Just another tool to add to the collection. If you have grease or anything else on your hands, the grip gets pretty slippery. Worked well when trying to thread the nipples through the wheel to hook the spokes. Well preserved nipple and washer.

To be honest, I was annoyed that I had to buy a special tool for my new wheel assembly; However, assembling this Swiss IndustryNine/DT wheel was MUCH easier than the others. The "Squorx" nipples fit perfectly in the wrench, unlike traditional flat or square spoke nipples. Assembly was quick and clamping was even easier as the tool automatically falls into the bracket. That's great for those nipples. It's really long to get to the deep edges. Just be careful that the nipple doesn't fall into the deep rim. Hula-hoop headbands aren't the best. Overpriced and annoying brand name. Aside from that, man, this thing makes wheel assembly a breeze. Much, much, much, much faster than a 4-way spoke wrench. The angle of the spoke coming out of the rim doesn't matter as you can tension it from the outside of the rim. Heads and shoulders over slotted or pan head spokes when assembling a wheel. I only built 2 wheels but this tool definitely made my assembly easier. If you're pulling on black spokes and nipples, I don't know how to avoid damaging the black paint with a standard wrench. This tool grips the wedge head of the nipple from the outside. Using this tool, I found that micro-adjustments were needed at the end of the tuning. Positive head contact made it easy.
