Get what you pay for.

The machined surface was very rough causing the brake pads to click. I had to take it off and put it on a lathe to smooth it out.

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • Frequency

Has served for a year and a half

I installed it in November 2016 and now the bearing is worn out. This is only good for a temporary fix. Just tighten the hub nut and you won't have any trouble. It was good while it lasted.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Item OK with poor packaging

Flattened dust seal. You can see a 15 pound piece with a sharp edge VS a layer of cardboard. Of course I could knock it out, but that's not why I buy new parts. It's just the laziness of the manufacturer.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Modern

Poor quality bearings.

I installed two of these drums following all instructions for bearing fit and tightening to proper torque. One bearing lasted about three months and now another is noisy after six months. Aside from a cheap bearing, these drums worked well.

Pros
  • Several Competitors
Cons
  • Drill Kit

It's been 4 months, don't waste your time.

Item failed in 4 months. New spindle nuts installed and bolts torqued to specification. I was not happy with this product. I bought this product after reading the reviews because I thought it was a really decent brake drum. I would advise you to buy Ford Motorcraft brake drums.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Poor manual

Pre-installed bearings at a great price

With pre-installed bearings all I had to do was install an old ABS ring from an old drum (does not apply to non-ABS models) which went smoothly. I give it 4 stars because I had a problem with the one I ordered last year. The bearing failed and had to be replaced 6 months ago. Bearings can be changed quickly and inexpensively.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Some cons

Great price

Good quality item. Arrived 3-4 days after order. Packed and well protected in a hard cardboard box. It came off a lot easier than the old one came off. Fitted behind the driver in September 2013, along with new pads and fittings. Yes I had to swap both at once but there was neither time nor experience but now I'm doing it to get the right one for the passenger side. However, braking has improved by about 80%. Many other reputable brands were available but they were very happy with the purchase…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some flaws
