I wanted to like this product but I was disappointed. The price is great for 3 rugs. The durability was high and didn't break as other reviewers have mentioned, but the strong grip and stickiness didn't last long. Literally after 3-4 uses, the stickiness goes away. There is no bonding and I had to resort to my vinyls and HTVAs to use tape which is an extra chore. I knew it was probably too good to be true. Firstly, this mat is too sticky and comes off very quickly! How does that even work?! Second, the top of the mat where the hanging hole is has to be too big or something because every time I use that side my image doesn't crop properly. As you can see in my photo, the bottom part of my banner is cropped incorrectly. When I try to lower the cardboard, the top of my image doesn't crop. He just cuts the carpet. When I use the bottom of the mat everything is fine. Overall I absolutely hate this rug

I personally have never had anything like this happen to any of my rugs with the same vinyl I've used for years. Not worth the money other than they fit the craze and seem durable although this was my first run with them so not sure if that's my experience at the moment. The sad thing is that the cut I made was my chinchilla Cheesy who died the same day. Pros - cheap without sacrificing quality - high strength - excellent adhesion - not flimsy like the Silhouette brand - thick so my occasional deep cuts don't cut through like the Silhouette Cons There's only one and Unfortunately, that's the only reason I'm looking for other brands. For the price it's worth it. I think they work great and give you extra room to work, but they're a little stickier than expected and that can be a little disappointing, but better too sticky than not enough right? With a little patience, you can reduce the stickiness and get great rugs at a fraction of the price of big brands. Just check with the leftover material first which mat works best for your project and reduce the stickiness if necessary before using. You can do this a number of ways…
