Boost Performance with the Edelbrock 1906 Carburetor/Annular Booster: Unleash Maximum Power! Review

I use this on my 1985 Chevy Stepside Lowrider Hot Rod. This thing works right out of the box and is very easy to install. I noticed an increase in mpg and easy starting. burn their way.

I have replaced my Holley with this 1906. The engine started within 2 seconds after starting. The 1906 model required only a few minor adjustments to the secondary, idle and throttle bodies. I highly recommend this Holly carburetor!

Installed on my AMC 401 engine (Gremlin 1973) Installed with no problems (I had to drill the mounting holes a bit but when installing on an intake manifold older than 40 years the tolerances are different) Worked great the box. I highly recommend this carbohydrate.

Now with this carb I have a quick and easy start in any weather with this carb. I also get incredible low-rpm throttle response. A person who doesn't know would think that this is a modern injection car. Use an AVS2 carb with the recommended thermal pad for real results.

Awesome! I was having trouble setting up my new SBC motor. I had an old Eldebrock carburetor and just wasn't happy with the way the engine worked. Failed to get correct vacuum, idle and mixture. Spin this straight out of the box and it instantly made me smile. This carburetor is a significant improvement over previous versions. Like it a lot! Now it works perfectly.

This thing works great right out of the box so I haven't even tried it yet. Even came with a fuel filter. I added an Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator (13205) with a fluid filled gauge. Be sure to vent the pressure gauge before adjusting the pressure to about 6 psi. I reset the float levels before installing and the cold start idle is a bit high and needs to be reset. But with this new carburetor, it idles even better in cold weather. And the exhaust fumes don't even smell too greasy anymore.

Just what my Chevy C20 needs. I restored the quad that was on it and it turned out that the old carburetor was warped and cracked. I'm used to Holly so this was new to me. Aside from all the little things needed to hook it up to an '84 Chevy with a 700r4, it went in easily and worked amazing. So I bought two of these carburetors based on my positive experience with the new Edelbrock carburetor many years ago.
