Item OK, but threaded holes drilled a little "crookedly". This means that the four studs were at different angles and would not allow the carburetor to be installed. I was able to set/bend them to work with brute force - a hammer.

I bought this adapter to install a split port reverse carburetor on the inlet square bar. The casting is of very good quality and lends itself well to drilling and machining to enlarge the mounting holes and open up secondary play passages.

I was dissatisfied with the workmanship and quality of this particular adapter. I'm not saying this is a common fault with this product, but the one I received was completely gutted; It had a burr on the hole and was missing a nut (probably a set of 4) from the packaging to screw the carburetor onto the studs. I returned the product and bought a different adapter from a different manufacturer.

Bought because another website said you could also use this to install an expansion port (quadrajet) on a square inlet. This happens on a fairly standard engine and we wanted to keep the 4 hole gasket so we wouldn't mix up the air signal. I was able to get it to work, but I had to fiddle around a bit by drilling and enlarging the holes. The end result, it works well, just note that it is designed for a square bore carburetor to widen the inlet. Good fit and finish and fast shipping.

It fits my factory GM QuadraJet intake so I can fit an Edelbrock 1405 600cfm carburetor. All gaskets and fasteners were included. It was drilled and tapped for a vacuum port but the hole was not drilled through so it would be useless. I'm not sure Edelbrock expects you to finish drilling a hole when you need this connector.
