The kit saves a lot of time and money. If you have an Audi A-6 and the pump is noisy. Do not exchange it for a refurbished one, possibly with the same problems.

I installed this in the ZF power steering pump on my '87 Porsche 944 Turbo and the pump is quieter again and runs like new. FYI, this kit will fit any 1986 or newer 944 with a ZF pump, although Revain's parts finder says this is not the case.

I used it on a 1986 ZF Vanagon power steering pump. The box looked fine but the shaft seal was bent and the zero ring I needed had sheared off. I had to knock out the gasket to make it round and install a broken o-ring and gasket because the van can't work. It will probably expire next week. I can't return it because I've used it. I need another 0 ring if it starts leaking.
