Not suitable. Best Power Steering

This is false advertising. I bought this a few months ago and just put it on and assumed it didn't fit. I have a 2009 F150 Platinum 5.4 and Revain says it will definitely fit your car but sorry no it won't. Now after the time I've spent wearing it, it's non-refundable. I guess I have to pay the cost.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Construction
Cons
  • Modern

Leaks like crazy best in spares

I bought this with the intention of replacing myself but due to time I couldn't do it. I took my truck to the shop and they put it in, but it was still having issues with leaks. They tried to change the line several times but it leaked every time. They ended up at their dealer and the leaks disappeared immediately after installation. I also bought both returns and they were able to install them with no problems.

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • Some cons

I would not recommend this product

I have carefully installed the product according to the manufacturer's instructions. Product Leak I carefully checked the instructions again and read them several times to see if I missed a step or made a mistake. For the sake of clarity, I am trained in hydraulic systems, pneumatics and power transmission systems, electrical and electronic systems. For the last 35 years I have serviced all my vehicles myself including Ford, Audi, BMW, Nissan and GM products. This time I have to reinstall theโ€ฆ

  • Easy to read control panel

Perfect fit for my 2008 f150

Perfect fit for my 2008 f150. I sprayed on the fitting and nut under the pump with a blaster. Everything is rusted, the hardest part was unscrewing the nut under the pump. Be sure to cut the line as close to the end of the pump as possible. I used a hacksaw blade on a small handle and it worked fine. Use an Allen key to remove the nut from the pump. Make sure you are using the correct size socket. To be sure, try the socket on a new nut in the package. I had a good bite of the nut, but Iโ€ฆ

The new part leaked a lot

Note: According to the installation instructions, the nut must be inserted into the pump first. Remember that when doing this, the nipple end of the hose must be perfectly aligned with the hole, otherwise, instead of moving apart, the locking ring in the nut will grab the end and gradually push the other end out. I know this because the first replacement was very difficult to put in by hand, so I figured it needed convincing. He walked all the way and seemed to sit down (no). Very heavilyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design

  • Doubtful

Fits my 2006 F-150 5.4L Flex Fuel Truck

It worked and after replacing the old hose I had no problems with leaks after installation. Keep in mind that removing the old hose on one end is extremely difficult as the threaded connection seemed to stick after your truck has been running for a while. I recommend cutting off the old hose right at the fitting. (I used pliers and just cut a little at a time, then moved the cord back and forth like I was prying a coat hanger until it broke.) After that, I used a 3/4" deep hex socket to pullโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance

  • Hard to tell
