50-50 on this at electronic training collars

Man it was a hassle to actually get it and it took about a month to actually ship all the parts. Seems to work for my larger, more sensitive dog, but my small dog is indifferent. He listens for tiny corrections, but in the heat of action during his barking vacation, it does nothing but massage his throat. I would go back and get the shock version but I don't want to go through the same thing again.

Great alternative to the traditional stimulator collar

This is a quality product that does what it is supposed to do. No complaints about that. I've had great results remotely training two dogs with one collar. The dog I bought this collar for is 120 pounds in the Great Pyrenees and the electrostimulation probes on the other collar were not long enough to go through his thick coat. The vibrating collar works just as well and I recommend it to anyone looking for an alternative to other forms of stimulation.

Pros
  • Free for classes
Cons
  • Speed

Great Product!: Collars, Harnesses & Leashes

This e-collar only pager is my third e-collar purchase. I wanted something effective yet gentle for my sensitive lifeguard girl and this pager is exactly what I was hoping for. After some training in introducing her to the collar, when I want to call her I now use the pager on "1" just to get her attention without startling her. If I want to fix it, I can go higher or use the "T" key for a stronger preset vibration. E-Collar products are of high quality and long-lasting batteries. I recommend…

Happy Training With Electronic Training Collars

I rescued a badly abused German Shepherd who had severe anger issues. We tried a low level shock collar but it was too overwhelming for our now beloved Shiva so we switched to this vibro sound model. Immediately my German Shepherd responded to the vibration and then I figured I would use this collar instead of a clicker to reward her for the feedback. It took a few quick touches to make her come straight at me, tail wagging and smiling, I swear. The difference between the electric collar of…

Not just for deaf dogs

I am training a service dog and am currently working on protecting public areas. Due to my disability, I am often almost mute. My dog is trained in hand signals, but when checking in in a noisy environment with many distractions, there are times when he doesn't give me his full attention, and when he's not looking at me he can't see my hand signal. This pager was my lifesaver. They're often used on deaf dogs to get their attention, but they work for dumb trainers too. I tried the beep option…

Great addition to learning. It is very important!

Bought for an injured 5 year old 80lb GSD mix that I rescued. This dog just looked miserable in its cage when it was rescued. It lay there for over a year and no one needed it. For some reason I kept coming back to this and searching for it on Petfinder. Followed his profile lol. Anyway, I ended up adopting him. He was horrified. How visually stunning! Poor boy. He was a nightmare on the leash. It was dangerous to pull that hard. There was no aggressive bone in his body, he just wanted to smell

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Lightly dented
