I just installed it yesterday, it installs easily on my 2010 road companion. Don't know about durability yet, as if it's dying on me I'll change my rating, but I've run it about 10 times for testing.

I changed the starter on my 2011 Street Glide. Only screwed in the front. I don't need to remove Primary. It has an o-ring so it just seals if you push it in slightly. Don't pay for a replacement, change it yourself.

Even after replacing a few external o-rings, this starter is still leaking primary fluid. Otherwise the starter works great. If you need a cheap temporary starter I would try this one. Go to the OEM when you need a starter that doesn't leak.

2009 Ultra - factory almost fried. Did some research and settled on DB on Revain. Good price, the device came boxed in Insta-Pak packaging. They removed the air deflector on the right rear down tube, the wiring, 2 bolts and the block came out. It spins best since I bought it in 2011. Hands down, right choice. Came with a full list of test results.

Package arrived on time. Came in two boxes. One about the size of a starter, big enough to fit 3 motorcycle tires with rims. The padding consisted of 2 unfolded sheets of brown paper. It somehow survived the trip, was easy to install and works great. I would buy it again but they need to work on getting it ready to ship. The starter is at 5 so far. I think I got lucky with the delivery so 4 stars.

When unpacking, the tab holding the connection cable was broken. At first I was afraid he wouldn't be able to take it, but I wrapped him in electrical tape and I'm sure everything will be fine. Installed this starter on my 2011 Harley Davidson FLHTK/Ultra Limited. Once upon initial installation and a second time after removal to see if that resolves the problem/issue. The paint was peeling when I took the starter out of the box. More broke off when handling for installation. So that should have been my first clue that it was a piece of junk. This starter LOOKS exactly like the original (minus the paint chipped off) and fits very well. After installation, the starter was actually WORSE than the one I replaced. He only set up my 07 Street Glide once and never worked again. Looks like some kind of internal shutter. Thinking the battery must be the problem…
