LOVE THEM!: Exterior Accessories

Installed them on my Jeep Wrangler 02 and they work great. Loud enough. I installed one on each side of the heatsink mount with the included bracket. Extra wiring done through the front of the cooler and bb-bb! They were worn for several months and still look and sound like new.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Installation hardware missing

The main problem is that these horns don't come with enough installation hardware - note that not a single ground wire is included. You need to purchase additional parts to make this work. Unacceptable! Also, the bolt used to attach the horns to the car is larger than the standard bolt (used on Toyota and all other aftermarket horns) which requires more work = no plug and play here!

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • Useless features

Absolute rubbish in every way.

The horns came with mounting tabs made from 3 THIN pieces of sheet metal stacked on top of each other. so thin that they were bent under the weight of the horns. Don't worry, I made my own mount out of ABS sheet. Less than a month after installation, one (the lower of the two tones) stopped working and 2 days later the other stopped working. Everything from the packaging to the accessories to the product itself is GARBAGE. Looks great but the build quality is TERRIBLE.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

It doesn't matter where the +- wires go!

Used to replace regular horns. While not designed for trucks, it's a little louder than the original, but spend the time and money installing truck horns. These horns do not require a special +- terminal assignment! With this type of horn you do not need a separate suspension when replacing the standard horn(s)! Simply ground one of each horn and the other horn pin connects to the vehicle's serial wiring. A separate harness should really only be used when attaching antlers.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model.

Saved me from many accidents.

So I have a Honda CRV and the horn was so quiet when I honked that people just looked around as if they even heard it. I need good signals for terrible drivers in my city. My friend installed it quickly and we are very satisfied. They are very noisy and saved me from many possible accidents. Now I will install them in every car. We first tried the Hella horns that our quads and BFS trucks have, but the ones I got didn't work and they seem to be a lot louder anyway. So happy we found her.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Minor issues

Gets results on the road

I use my horn more than my mouth so a good horn was a must, especially for the small but sleek 1994 Mazda (right) that's 25 years old the road is still easy does 95 mph on the i75. But in a city like Miami, a small car has to fight for its rights, and a high-pitched horn helps. Its high pitched tone is like any Cleo in Paris and installs in minutes. Just use the same wires to connect this one. Last month we bought a 2010 Mercedes (left) and replaced its original old taxi sound with this young…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • I'll keep quiet

Not flimsy: air horns

Very fancy horn, if you blow in the person in front of you will either walk, freeze in horror or come out and shoot you. It's just not a friendly sound. PITA mount, especially in tight spaces. The "staples" are just two plates in the shape of the letter "Z". And it's two, look, they're stuck together. These pieces are large, you'll need at least 6 X 4 for each. And when the body of the horn touches anything, it drowns out the sound of the sick cow. Well, if you're a draftsman and just want to…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No automatic
