The straps were so brittle that they broke trying to put them on the top tube. This is on a carbon fiber frame with about 2" tubing, not an old steel frame with 1" tubing. Even if the straps hadn't snapped during installation, I can't imagine the plastic would have withstood long periods of sun and inclement weather.

The design and the idea are good, the optics are also good, but unfortunately the material is not very good. One of the two clamps broke off during assembly. It happened with a slight pull. All I wanted to make sure was that the clip was flat and tight on my bike frame. This one returns.

So far so good. Now I can attach my second bottle cage and it's great. No more crazy thoughts about drilling a hole in my pipe. The only minor complaint is that the instructions would have been simpler if they had more than illustrations. I was confused when I got to the point of inserting the zip tie. You will need to use a flathead screwdriver (turn the screw clockwise) so that the zip tie goes in instead of being pulled into the slot. Looks a lot sturdier than a regular zip tie so I'm hoping

I needed to fit a bottle cage to a bike that only had mounts for one frame. After searching for a viable option, I found this system. At first glance it looked easy to put on, but my bike configuration wouldn't allow it to be placed on the seat tube as the cage already mounted on the down tube was too low. So with the flexibility of this versatile cage mount, I had two options: place it on the bottom of the down tube (which tends to make my bottle pick up a lot of road grime) or mount it on the
