Works great on my 1975 DT100

I bought another coil that didn't have enough spark to start the bike so I got this one and it works great. Very happy with the results and the overall construction of the reel.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Some bugs

Great for the price so far.

Fits full on cx500 - Totally would have been better if it had larger mounting holes. I made them larger as I couldn't find any smaller screws to hand. Also, it seems to work great. Will be updated for durability over time.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Negative present

Great coil for my 6V bike!

This was a great replacement coil for my 1978 Kawasaki Ke100 which is a 6 volt bike. The holes on the reel had to be drilled to 1/4" to work with the factory screws. It has good spark and now runs true. The wire is long enough for any application.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Exchange Availability

Will not work on Honda Pa50II

I bought this hoping it would work for my Honda Hobbit 49cc moped because a factory ignition coil costs an average of $30-40 unfortunately it won't work I think, because it works Since I don't have a capacitor like the factory one, I'll probably shell out the money for the original part.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Unusable features

Got my fancy scooter back on the road

I have an 81 TRAC moped 6 volt 50cc. cm, 2-stroke, there are simply no spare parts for the thing. That got me back to work. It was a lot smaller than the original so I had to make a bracket to support it as I didn't want it to be held by just one screw. Functionally, I have no complaints.

  • Confident

  • Weight

Good consistent electrical signal

I fitted this to a 6v Honda XL250 replacing the original. This knot is about half the length of the original, so I had to make do with one screw. I also had to drill a hole for the screw because it's inexplicably small. The rest works great. In combination with the NGK resistor cap I get a very stable and predictable electronic signal to the spark plug. I've done a lot of work on my bike so I can't give credit to this article but the combination of various maintenance and new parts including a…
