The case doesn't fit, poor quality.

Terrible. I bought to hold a small amount of paint and after filling a can full of paint I tried tapping on the lid and it didn't fit. The lid doesn't fit any of the cans (I bought 6 in total). Even after tapping with a hammer, the paint can bend immediately. Wouldn't recommend it.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Security

Too expensive for empty cans.

I'm sure it's not the seller's fault these EMPTY cans are so expensive but it taught me how to clean and clean the paint cans I've finished with keep them until I buy 5 gallons and have 2 or more gallons left. Otherwise, yes, they might appear as good as the paint cans we buy.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Communication with Seller

Caps don't match: paint and primer

As many have said, caps don't match! I tapped a can so hard it finally crumpled. One would think that the manufacturer would have checked this critical match. I can't return it as one of the cans was damaged and had paint in it. Another bank is also unsuccessful. I'm going to Home Depot to see if I can get a replacement. What a rip off. Do not buy!

Paint cans make great storage containers

These cans are aptly described – empty paint cans. While some use them for mixing paint or storing leftover paint, there are many other uses. Once embellished (or simply spray painted) they can be used to store many items such as:

Oxidation Tint Paint

I do not recommend this product for use with paint, especially light colors. I use a can to store a small amount of bright white interior semi-gloss latex paint so I don't have to open a gallon can for more than a few minutes. And after a couple of weeks, the can oxidizes, staining the paintwork with red and black oxides. A leveled glass is much better suited for this purpose.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • No machine

The lids won't open without a lot of force flexing the sides of the can

First impressions are they are great and work like any paint can. The problem occurs when you want to put the lid on. I tried using a rubber mallet at first, but as I got around the glass, the opposite side kept popping out. It was not possible to close the lid with just a hammer / mallet. I then used a 2x4 piece of wood to cover the entire jar and hit the center of the wood with a hammer to dent all sides of the lid at once. This worked to close the lid tightly, but it started warping the…
