Fixation of the caterpillar bush.

These bushings remove debris from the tie rod. You will also need a larger screw! I recommend checking the arm bushings to make sure they aren't worn out.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Not the best

Fits great and makes Jeep look much newer

Fits great and makes Jeep look much newer. The only thing to keep in mind is that due to the larger bushings, you will need to buy new bolts. I can't remember what size they are, but Home Depot carries them either m12 or 1/2".

Pros
  • Gaskets
Cons
  • Negative present

Jeep Wrangler TJ 97 4.0 Tie Rod Bushing

Installed on my 1997 4.0 Jeep Wrangler TJ last August. It's been a year now and it's still working. Still no cotton. A good American product to replace rear tie rod bushings. Would recommend to other Wrangler TJ owners. Well made product.

Pros
  • Bearings & Seals
Cons
  • Modern

given 4 stars even though i wasn't satisfied because it's a good product i just used it on another car. Used in my 2004 Overland range and they are not stiff enough for the purpose. The steering is not firm and you can see the movement in the hub (not the bolt which would indicate oval holes) as the tire spins. Sufficient, but not the best choice in my opinion. I'll explore higher durometer options that don't cost more.

Pros
  • spare parts
Cons
  • high price
