Here is the situation. If you turn the fan on more than 1/2, this filter will have airflow issues. It kind of creaks. I would pay extra for one with better airflow.

I installed this filter on my 2017 Toyota Prius two weeks ago and noticed an increase in MPG. An increase of about five mpg. It's worth it, especially since I save money and fuel.

It's hard to say for sure if the filters are any better than those available at the dealer or auto repair shop. I can say that the quality of these products seems to be on par with other purchases. Price wise the cost of these filters was much more in line with what I think the cost should be and much less than bought from a dealer or store. The fit was perfect so I don't see a problem buying them again.

later The filter fits perfectly on my Toyota Prius Since 2015 at half the price. The car does not need a high performance filter and the benefits of a more expensive filter are very small. I used to buy a K&N like all my cars, only to find out I wasted my money. The car gets more than enough airflow with cheaper paper filters and K&N will end up ruining my airflow sensor. Save your money, it does the trick.
