Technically not up to their specs but decent pla material

I'm a bit disappointed with the packaging. For almost the same price I could buy an Overture plate with a reusable bag and a build surface. This packaging is NOT resealable. The spool has a beveled outside on one side, which makes it very difficult to make an adapter for it. I bought this pla because Overture doesn't have that blue color. I like the consistency of thread gauge, the lowest size I mixed was 1.73 and the highest was 1.79. Technically that doesn't match their specs, but it doesn't…

  • Industrial & Scientific

I really like this thread. very consistent!

I am new to 3D printing but have an Eryone ER20 and also use Eryone filaments. I measure the thread and calibrate with each spool. I use Cura 4.8 for my slicer and meshmixes for restoring or editing. Most of my PLA+ prints are 215-220/60-68 with .15-.20. I have no problem with the filament not sticking to the glass substrate. I adjust the temperature of the bed based on the room temperature and whether the window is ajar or not. I haven't had any issues with any of the Eryone PLA+ filaments…

Pros
  • 3D printing consumables
Cons
  • old

Superior PLA+ Filament

Printer = Direct Drive Eryone Thinker SE, Bigtreetech SKR 1.4 Driver TURBO TMC2209Slicer = Cura 4.8 with Artillery Sidewinder X1 Profile. Print speed = 75mm/s Print temperature = 215 Layer temperature = 60Infil= 20% gyroidSupport= only touches the build plate Very well packed filament. Printing my custom designed front panel started with some apprehension as I started hearing pops and small gaps on the first layer but this disappeared after the first layer after the 2.5 hour print was completed

Pros
  • Additive Manufacturing Products
Cons
  • Cables shorter than others
