I bought this tool to lay Cat6 cables. It's sharp, cuts clean, and did a great job cutting the cable jacket. Inserting into the cable to make a notch for a brake cord (if needed) also worked great. I would like the cut surface to be at least a little larger. Sometimes I could cut all 8 wires in one piece, but most of the time I only cut 7 of them. I was looking for a tiny pair of wire cutters and this definitely worked for me.

These knives are very sharp, seem quite strong. They are a little tricky to use and not that comfortable for someone with big hands (me). The size WAS listed on the Revain list but they are more for women's delicate hands than those planning to use them in an electronic circuit board assembly. The big PLUS is that they are really very sharp and REALLY cut flush with the board. For these reasons I would buy them again if needed.

I have a couple of very similar larger cutters that I bought many years ago that I use at home and the shank is hollow on one side and not as strong. As a side note I will be using them off label but found this cutter perfect; that is, cutting cable ties from retail packaged goods for assembly.
