First thing to be warned when you first turn this on it starts up straight to the maximum 32V. Definitely make sure you're not starting with anything plugged in to it (this really should start at 5V or the last set voltage). My real complaint however is that it won't hold a voltage steady the tuning controls are impossible to set accurately. I spent a good minute or two setting it precisely to 5.00V only to see it constantly bounce between 4.99V and 5.01V after being set and not touched.

Bought this back in July and put it away until I had time to use it. Turned on out of the box but went dead. No problem, went through the trouble shooting and found it had a blown fuse. This happens, how ever got a replacement fuse and it killed that one too. Rechecked everything and turned it to a mid level setting the put another fuse in and the same thing. Guess I learned to check things right when I get them.

There's a lot to like about this compact bench power supply. The only real nitpick I have are the standard alligator clips supplied with the device. They are the slippery rubber kind that make making connections more tedious than it needs to be. You'll do well to get yourself a higher quality set. The unit has being working non stop for the last 4 months. Everything works as expected. One tiny annoyance is that it sounds like it has an internal cooling fun, which occasionally will start revving up. Not too bad, but is noticeble in the quiet room.

I tested the voltage and current out of this with my Fluke meter, which I would expect to be not to bad, and it was spot on to what the read out was showing.I find adjusting the values to be very sluggish, but im in no hurry, and after a few times operating it, you get used to it and can dial in a value fast enough.I dont like the inability to adjust the current limit until there is an actual load on though. I just shorted the leads and adjusted, then applied the power.I dont have a way to test

I had great expectations but the power supply arrived broke and used!. The display only show (c.v) nothing else and you can see the screws were previously removed. This is going back!

I ran this power supply at full wattage for 12 hours without a hitch on an important project I had to get done. It is easy to use and understand. It looks professional and worked as advertised. Best Buy delivered it quickly. 5 Stars.
