Works great with my MAC

Haven't used it much yet so I gave it four stars. I've used it a few times and it worked great. I like the size - small, convenient to take with you.

Value for money external components

Most computers don't have an optical drive and you rarely use it anyway. It's good to have on hand if you want to stream movies or burn a mixtape CD for someone as it's truly plug and play. Nothing superfluous. It's a good tool when you need it.

A real universal adapter!

I'm surprised this is the first time I've seen an external DVD drive with dual USB 3.0 ports, micro USB and multiple memory card slots. The real all-in-one! I dedicated this unit to "The End of the Line: Rochester's Subway" DVD.

Good Price in Computer Components

Doesn't work for Windows 10 without app download

So I got this because it clearly stated it's for Windows 10. Well it isn't. I have a new laptop without a CD-ROM. I was looking for something and came across this one that said it would work for Windows 10. I plugged everything in and my laptop didn't recognize it. I looked at the instructions and it said that Windows 9 or 10 doesn't recognize it and that you need to download the app to make it work. If I had known that, I would not have gotten it. Better price than other portable recorders

I compared this to another portable recorder that actually sold for a few dollars more but no hub. Unfortunately, this device only got 3 stars because it was inferior to this device in terms of price and functionality. This is the type of product that you will rate. I tested it on an iProda mini laptop that doesn't have USB-A ports. With this I could not only have a recording device, but also connect a keyboard and mouse to my KVM switch.
