Solid and Reliable Anchor for Automotive Use

As a result of using this anchor, I found that it is highly dependable and well-constructed. It held up to strong ocean currents without any issues, making it an ideal choice for any automotive activity that requires a secure anchor. One con is that it can be quite heavy, which may require some extra effort when transporting it from place to place. Overall, the Extreme Max anchor is a great investment for anyone in need of a trustworthy anchor for their automotive adventures.

Pros
  • Durable and high-quality material provides strong holding power for boats up to 24 feet in length.
Cons
  • Requires additional weight to be effective in extremely windy conditions, which may limit its versatility in rough waters.

Chain OK but shackle loop seems weak

I'm talking about a kayak anchor. Everything in the description is correct, but the strut pin has a tab (which is used to twist the threads) that looks like I could break it with my thumb and forefinger. So far ok, but not better compared to others. I only need one end for the shackles and I'm giving you two, so the other is a spare if it ever breaks. I'll update if it really ever breaks.

Pros
  • Maximum Load: 1250 lbs / Breaking Strength: 5000 lbs.
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Hangs punching bag great

Exactly as described and works well. I'm an engineer and the zinc finish feels heavy and properly applied. Welds and brackets feel well made/uniform and work perfect (not tied) I use this to hang a punching bag from the ceiling and "test load" for my application about 500 lbs (obviously not 5000 lbs tensile force) 30 percent coil (cheapest chain steel available) corresponds to this tensile force at 1 / 4 inch diameter.

Pros
  • Includes two 5/16" brackets
Cons
  • Requires base
