Got my husband a birthday present since he switched to natural peanut butter. He likes that it can be used in different sized glasses, that it rotates easily and that the scraper makes it very easy to clean the stirrer. And as the instructions say, after stirring and storing in the fridge, the oil doesn't settle - so far so good. He likes products that are made simply and do exactly what they are designed to do. I put it upside down in the jar at first and it was difficult. Once I paid attention to the simple instructions, it got a whole lot better! When you start mixing the butter, insert the mixer halfway into the jar to mix the butter, then lower it to the bottom of the jar to mix the thicker butter at the bottom. This product was only good for the initial break up of hard almond butter. I used to use a butter knife to chop the almond butter first. I found the knife to be heavy moving and hard to hold. This product seemed a bit awkward to turn at first, but improved a bit as the almond butter dissolved. After 15 minutes I still had large chunks of almond oil in a slurry of liquid, lightly mixed oil and almond oil. I ended up blending with the more efficient method I used; Hand mixer with an attachment. I

I bought this with some skepticism how much better could it be than just using a butter knife like I always have? It really comes down to how you clean up the butter that squirts out when you use a butter knife or something else to stir? The time you save by avoiding the oil cleanup is worth it, even better when the peanut butter returns to its perfect texture.
