F10 BRW 622 GRW Collection Review

They are great. They're not the highest quality, but they look solid for the price. It's smooth and taut (although there's a lag in the movement when the latch starts to move). This is just a habit and does not affect the function. Installation was easy. I just removed the old ones and installed these. Everything turned out fine. For the price they are worth it.

This product was sent to me without a set of assembly hardware (screws, flanges, tools, etc.). It arrived in a battered storage box which is totally different from what you would find in a big box warehouse style home store. It was really useless and a total disappointment. Imagine how you feel when you open a box of "new" doorknobs after removing the old handle from your front door.

Looks good when installed. They really modernized our 90's house (no more brass knobs!). The only thing I don't care about is how far you have to twist the knob to release it. To open the door, you have to push it almost 90 degrees. It's a lot better than hanging around the room after lathering your hands with lotion, but a bit more effort than I imagined. Still a great product.

This is the second broken door knob I have received. It wasn't machined properly, so one of the screws couldn't fit more than 1/4" in the hole. You can see bits of metal blocking the way. The first doorknob I was able to return, but due to the house arrest ordinance, it is Returning it now is a bit of a hassle. In the end I found and used a different screw and it worked. The door knob itself seems fine. Hope it can handle a shorter screw.

Planning for a future where you may not have good grip or just have wet hands, my wife ordered lever handles instead of handles for her new home. They look great and work great. However, once we installed them, we found that each of them had different keys. Now we have to find a locksmith to lock them anyway. Decent, inexpensive replacement for a worn set of locks and a matching latch on the cabin's front entrance door. There are problems with the installation and use. INSTALL - Make sure your previous latch fits snugly and easily into the latch jamb plate and door frame without binding. The electronic bolt does not work correctly in battery operation.
