I ordered this set because my family needed new cookware. Some of the pans we used were starting to wear out, and our non-stick pans had a lot of scratches. These Farberware pans need to be free of toxins that are released during cooking that can poison you like some non-stick pans can. These pans are ceramic which to my knowledge seems to be more durable than other nonstick pans. So far we haven't noticed any scratches on the surface, but we try to use only wooden, plastic or silicone utensils

This is a good frying pan starter set, suitable for a couple or maybe a student. The pans themselves are quite light which is good for me as a disabled person prone to dislocating joints easily. There are so many things in this set, even kitchen utensils. I like the small egg pan because it reduces the amount of cooking spray or oil needed since it's so small. I love the deep pan it comes with because it's the perfect depth. I find no waffle structure more useful or advantageous than a flat bottom.
