Fel-Pro MS98000T Intake Manifold Gasket Set Review

According to the item description, only one valve cover gasket was included. I assumed it was because only one valve cover had to be removed to remove the intake manifold. I was happy that two valve seals were included in the kit. I have used this product to replace the intake manifold gasket on my 1998 Z71 and it is holding up great.

A well done installation is perfect and this is the gasket to use if you have a Chevy or GMC fix it style shipping gaskets were fast price was great well made product far superior quality and most gasket companies make it. I would recommend it to anyone who is very satisfied as a professional mechanic

Gaskets fallen. Better than the original design garbage! A valve cover gasket is OK. The inlet seems to want to turn in one direction or the other. I snapped at the packaging review for this one. It's annoying when the box comes in and the tape has worn off and the seals almost slip out or the box can easily be opened. Take $3 from me and put it in another box.

Had to fix a leak in the intake manifold and chose this kit to finish the job. This is my second time with the same error. The first was over 10 years ago and I also used a Fel-Pro kit for this repair. This set is radically different from the one it replaces. Looking at them side by side the gasket material is wider in this version and it just looks like a premium gasket that will finally give me a permanent solution. I really hope so.

The quality of this product was second to none and the project went smoothly and I had everything I needed for the replacement including the silicone which also came with the kit. Have a 1998 Silverado 5.7 Vortec. The factory originals failed after 120,000 miles. They were replaced with a Felpro plastic version due to a very common "mysterious" coolant leak.
