Another great Fel-Pro product.

This pad is very thick. I highly recommend using a set of studs and nuts to attach it to the motor rather than standard bolts.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • OK

Good seal.: Oil

Really good seal for heavy use. A bit awkward to use as it's heavy, but seals great! No leaks and way better than the old regular cork gasket!

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house

Good Gasket: Oil

Pros: Much better than traditional gaskets, has guides and longer screws needed to hold the frying pan. More expensive than alternatives.

If you are looking for a Buick oil pan gasket do not buy this

When I ordered this it said it would fit a Buick 350. The picture I ordered showed a flat pan gasket I have: no flat pan gasket, this is for a small block Chevy, not a small block Buick

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • Fits

There are no more leaks. in parts

It's way better than cork gaskets and those rubber front and rear pan gaskets. I'm very tired of looking for leaks in the oil pan because I can't drop the oil pan when my engine is still in the car. Installed and there were no more leaks. Just be sure to choose the right one for attaching the timing case cover to the oil pan, there are thick and thin versions. This is the thick version.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Some bugs

This is not for 1999 one piece rear main seal application

I ordered this as it showed it would fit and should be fitted with a 1999 GM 5.0 engine. This is for the 2 piece rear main gasket on the GM engine. There were blue clips in the box but no hardware. Return for correct seal. Is there a correct seal kit for the one-piece rear main seal that comes with the equipment? Do I show it was returned on a gift certificate? I don't have a gift card that can be refunded.

Quality materials, installation was a NIGHTMARE

VERY good gasket, decent fits, good fit and in the end this gasket created a dry tight seal across the entire pan (including front and rear timing case covers). main cover). Installing this shim was one of the 3 worst jobs I've ever done, it was a very difficult problem as was everything that could go wrong (took over 2 hours for the whole install). The "Fit" plastic guides are required, I was able to fit the four corners but couldn't get the tray into place - the washer is so thick it was…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Doesn't fit everything

Fits better than expected

I watched some YouTube videos about installing a Felpro monoblock and saw that blue clamp pins were used somewhere in the side rails when I installed the cleat set. leave open for wringer pins. I installed the studs and then proceeded to installing the studs, they only fit in 5/16" corner positions. Well hell. So I put in other bolts and the gasket was hanging off the bolts just enough to lift the pan. So no big deal. The pan fit well enough that you just had to press down with your hand to…
