5,000 miles and invoice

So far so good, it's been a few months and no leaks. Make sure to use some high temp RTV in the corners and voila! Don't be afraid to buy a new PCV.

Pros
  • Build quality
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

Does what it should. Fits perfectly.

Bought for my 1996 Camry. Yes it is old! But the fit was perfect and the oil stopped dripping down the sides of the engine. Works as advertised.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

Fits like a glove on my 1990 Toyota Celica GT with .

Fits like a glove on my 1990 5sfe Toyota Celica GT and should fit many other 5sfe Toyotas including the Toyota Camry. I'm glad the engine isn't leaking anymore.

Valve Cover Upgrade OEM

I'm not sure if Toyota only uses liquid gasket for pans and lids but Fel-Pro knows how. Easy installation on 3rd generation Camry. Permatex Ultra was used in certain places to seal the deal, but no doubt the thickness of this gasket will help a 300,000+ mile engine for a while. 900 km there are no leaks.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Disappear

Perfect Fit for 2001 Camry 4 Cylinder Engine

Perfect Fit for 2001 Camry 4 Cylinder Engine. No leaks. Very easy to install. It took less than an hour and most of it was removing what was left of the old gasket. Installation requires a 30mm socket, torque wrench and a small amount of gasket. I used Permatex Ultra Black. This is only required at 6 points, so it doesn't take long. The torque for the nuts is 33 lb-ft.

Pros
  • Easy to Read Control Panel
Cons
  • Some Cons

Installation was easy

Item was received in good condition and in the original packaging. Installation was easy. I would recommend putting some black RTV sealant on the groove where the gasket enters the valve cover and letting it set a bit to hold the gasket in place during installation. Be sure to use RTV sealant on bearing end caps and other areas with uneven surfaces to prevent leaks.

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • Good but not great

good enough for a 1997 Toyota Camry 4 cylinder

I bought this FelPro based on some online reviews of the quality of the Fel-Pro gaskets. This gasket was purchased for a valve cover on a 1997 Toyota Camry 4 cylinder. Everything went well, no leaks. However! According to some advice on the web (which you CANNOT find on the web these days :P) it was recommended that an RTV/liquid seal be fitted at 90 degrees/sharp turns in the seal design as these areas are prone to leaking. My method was to insert the gasket into the valve cover itself, then…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Modern
