Non-Waterproof, Damaged Property

When it arrived I was pleased with how well everything fit. We packed up and left. I am returning this product. Claimed to be 100% waterproof. It was 100% wrong. The bag was installed correctly, with the zipper to the back of the car and all flaps down. We got caught in the rain and everything in the bag got wet. This causes water damage to many items. I will be refunded and I would not recommend this bag to anyone. The water just got everywhere. I am extremely disappointed. Of course I will…

Works great on long trips.

This tote bag was perfect for my families traveling across the country. The photos attached are from the end of the trip and it still looks brand new. Just to give you an idea of how this bag can hold up, we drove almost 3,000 miles from Idaho to Florida. There were several instances of high winds and heavy rains during our trip and everything in the bag remained safe and sound. I checked the straps every time I stopped to fill up and it never came off my roof rack. I only used the side rails…

We bought this bag for a trip that was 5 hours one way and it worked great apart from the horrible noise of the straps. As with all other reviews, there are no instructions. This is pretty easy to endure if you have a roof rack. But we've learned that it's better suited to a roof rack with crossbars. The bag has back and front straps that are specifically attached to the crossbars at the back and front for passage through. Our SUV doesn't have them, so we attached them to the side bars instead.
