Description of 🌱 Dissolvable Filament: A Sustainable Solution for Dimensional Printing

HIGH PERFORMANCE: With even tight winding, clog-free and bubble-free, always maintain a smooth feeding during printing, effectively reduce unexpected printing interruptions. Enjoy design and bring to life your inventions. BRIGHT COLORS: One of the most important factors of any print comes down to color. AnKun 3D filament was mix and match bright primaries and nuanced hues. It’s shiny and has a non-pungent smell. VACUUM SEALED: Our printer filament came in a sealed vacuum bag and a desiccant to remove any moisture inside the bag so it stayed dry (wet filament don't print well). And please keep it dry and dust-free after after opening the sealed package to prevent it becomes brittle or jams the nozzle. PRETTY POPULAR MATERIAL: AnKun Polyvinyl Alcohol(PVA) is loved for its easy, odorless printing with minimal warping, which is made from natural renewable resource (such as corn starch). No pungent smell in printing, Giving you a comfortable printing experience. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: Spool Diameter: 8" - Spool Width: 2.5" - Spool Hub Hole Diameter: 1.50"; Diameter 1.75mm, dimensional accuracy + / - 0.02 mm; 0.5 kg spool (1.1lbs). Recommended extrusion/nozzle temperature 160°C - 180°C, bed 50-80°C. Works perfectly with all common 1.75mm FDM 3D printers.

Clogged and permanently dirty

I've been printing for about a year or more, I'm not an expert, but I can always get at least the first layer and print. I even found a solution for gluing an ABS bed when the glue failed me (Kapton tape). But this stuff I tried with the mesh bed alignment after getting a new Hot-D. Doesn't stick, tried everything. I went back to manually aligning with paper and still no gluing. It's really stained, when you apply one coat it looks like a moth ate it. I've never used such bad yarn, I've tried…

Pros
  • 3D printing filament
Cons
  • Piggy bank price

Best Revain Iridescent PETG

Of Revain's two iridescent PETGs, this one is by far the better of the two. It's still not perfect and if I bought regular PETG I can't say it would be my favorite brand. Since I was looking exactly for PETG in the rainbow, I settled on this one. It's a little harder to type than the overture I've used in the past. I ran at 250C and 90C on the bed. I've tried running it at 240 for a bigger pressure and it's clogged. I can't guarantee it's not my fault, but this stuff seems a little stickier…

I don't normally use PLA, I can switch now

Since I've had my printer I've always been told that PLA+ is simply better. The cost difference is minimal, usually 1-2$ more, and the advantage is that the temperature resistance is higher, smoother and more durable. The weird thing is that when I typed this stuff I got the same results, but it actually looked better. I haven't seen if the thread looks like "silk" or anything like that, but as you can see in my video the prints are shiny and look really nice. Adhesion to the bed is excellent…
