First time PETG, no complaints

This was my first attempt at PETG printing. So far I've only used PLA. I have an Ender 3. I haven't changed anything on my slicer's PLA settings except for the nozzle and layer temperatures, which I've set to 245 and 80 respectively. I ended up setting the jet temp to 235 and the bed to 85L before all was said and done. Support on the bed was good, but the walls and padding didn't seem to feel very good. Well I looked for the fluorescent orange filament and found it when it arrived it wasn't a solid color but a translucent fluorescent orange filament hahahaha that looks cool! I was planning to build an AM8 printer, I don't have an ABS case and the PLA was out of the card due to the temps so I grabbed this PETG, printed some big chunks first and wow! Prints beautifully! The diameter is really consistent, there is no snagging or anything like that on the spool and for traction. ok i have a PEI…

Definitely bright orange

I don't normally print in this color but decided to give it a try. I usually print PLA too, although I used to print PETG. In general, the thread prints very well. I've had consistent extrusion on every print I've made to date. I haven't had any issues with stuck filaments or mismatches. I measured several points along the filament to check for inconsistencies and found none. This thread is also delivered dry and vacuumed. PETG can absorb water from the air. I would recommend storing this…
