Unreliable Heater Disappoints Fish Keepers

This heater worked well for a few months, then it failed to maintain steady temperature. Our fish were subjected to sudden fluctuations. It's exasperating that Pet Supplies still carry this product despite several complaints..

Pros
  • Heats water effectively when new
Cons
  • Unreliable, unpredictable temperature control

Fantastic Heating System for Aquariums!

After trying this product I was amazed at how quickly and accurately it heated my aquarium. It's digital system allowed me to easily control the temperature, and the titanium construction gave me peace of mind knowing it was durable. The sleek design also made it blend seamlessly in my tank. My fish seem to be thriving with this product. .

Pros
  • Fast heating, accurate temperature control, durable titanium construction.
Cons
  • A bit pricier than some other Pet Supplies in this category.

Short cable from heater to controller

Finnex products are well made. I bought this to replace my old Finnex heater which was over 7 years old. The problem with this product is that the cable from the heater to the controller is very short and doesn't meet my setup needs.

Pros
  • 3 digit display and controls, 1/10 degree calibration Heater calibrated
Cons
  • Not sure
