The pruner is an indispensable thing for working in the garden. Trimming tree branches is necessary in autumn and spring. Garden tools must be chosen carefully to suit the tasks that lie ahead of you. Namely, the width of the branch that you will cut. Fiskars is a Swedish company that manufactures gardening equipment, initially I bought a shovel, in that year a lopper. The tool has a special mechanism that allows you to bite branches of even large widths. In my garden and apple trees, plums…

Pros

For garden work, a good option, as long as it works properly.

In today's review, I want to talk about the lopper, which has been working regularly in my summer cottage since the spring of this year. This lopper is called: Fiskars PowerGear "L70". It looks like this: And in the open state, the delimber is like this: This pruner copes well with medium-sized branches, shrubs. The cutting part looks like this: The working diameter is 38 mm. The length of this tool is 46 cm, the approximate weight is 500 grams. It is convenient to use it. For giving a good…

Pros
  • Comfortably sits in the hands, does not slip, copes well with the task.
Cons
  • For me they are not.

He quickly lost his lead.

Well, this is my first time using them and my first impression is that they are very sharp and I didn't have much trouble cutting the tuft of brows. However, after about 45 minutes of heavy use, I noticed that they didn't cut either. I took one look at the blade and there are already well sized serrations on it and I can feel the blade curling outward. I took some pictures but they don't convey what you can feel with your hand on the edge of the blade. The ergonomics are just as pleasing as the

Broken on first use

Broken on FIRST use. On the fourth blow, the hilt snapped off the blade. Didn't even cut anything big. It was a branch of a tree, maybe an inch in diameter. Bought these because of the good brand and reviews. Suggests this is a manufacturing defect. A dark spot appeared at the edge where it broke. As if there was an air bubble or something when pouring into the mold (just a guess. Haven't researched how they are made). I'll add a photo of the damage later. UPDATE: Claiming the warranty was very

The best delimbing at the lowest price

The best delimbing at the lowest price. I was hesitant to use it at first because of the low price, but it works just as well as the one that costs 3 times the price. These Fiskars pruning shears cut small to medium sized branches like butter. Larger branches require a little more effort but are still very manageable. I have a muscle condition that affects my shoulders and muscle strength in general. So if I find the application easy, the average person should have no problems. The first thing…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Much better than I expected

I'm hard on pruning shears. I always do things with them that I shouldn't do. I break them often too. I decided to try these. So far they have held up very well. I've cut many branches much thicker than recommended with no problem. ♦ Well made, very durable. ♦ Not easy, but not too difficult either. A small person may have trouble using these pads for a long period of time. ♦ Very sharp. ♦ Comfort grips are really comfortable. Good size, soft and rubberized. Doesn't slip in sweaty hands. ♦ Cuts

Overgrown Garden Control

For now, ignore the overgrown weeds in my garden in the picture - I'm working on the next ones. Anyway I hate pruning my rose bushes because they grow fast and pruning takes 45 minutes to 1 hour with small hand shears and I have to bend down a lot and get poked and poked all the time so I decided to Buying Fiskars went around the lopper and gave it a try. He turned out better than I hoped! Aside from the cleaning - all my roses were cut in 20 minutes or less - no poking, no poking as usual…
