Worth every penny! Best in Fuel Tanks

Tougher plastic tubing than neoprene tubing. Because it's stiffer, there's less chance of the hose breaking. Works great and is a great buy.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Do Not Buy: Rowing and Sailing

This fuel line stopped working after 5 uses. The lightbulb in these lines will fail after a few uses. My outboard mechanic told me this would happen and after a few calls it did. Luckily I had an old fuel line or I would have gotten stuck in the middle of the lake.

Pros
  • Highest Scores for Support and Durability from Testers
Cons
  • Poor

Broken primer

Do not buy this product, the reason I had a broken primer. Today we went fishing at the lake, my engine starts to splash, I look back, I reach for the primer. spat out my fuel due to a defect I discovered. Thank goodness I had extra clamps, a knife and screwdriver, I had an extra lightbulb for primer, if it wasn't for them we would have been in a bind. I will never buy Five Oceans products again.

  • Excellent design

Evinrude, Johnson, 3/8 " Fuel Line

My first fuel line purchase was a Shoreline fuel line. It was nothing but trouble. Fuel leaked at the tank connection and the noise was like an air leak. When starting the outboard it ran out of fuel and I had to refuel the engine. I tried everything I could to get it to hold the pressure. I took a risk and bought a Fiveoceans fuel line. Permanently connected without Leaks I pressed on the fuel line with a lightbulb and it held pressure all day Great product it worked perfectly as it should I…

Pros
  • Good Value
Cons
  • A Few Little Things

NOT as pictured and leaking a bit

The fuel line kit arrived on time and looks well made although the spring loaded valve does not close well when disconnected from the engine. But the most important thing is that it is not like the picture. The fuel line itself is very light gray and NOT black as shown. I bought this for a vintage boat and it was important that it was black to match the boat control cables, battery negative cables, engine harness, rubber grommets etc. The light gray color is not pretty and will soon be stained…
