Works in braking system

Works exactly as intended. I could only wish for a better way to mount the dipstick in the radiator. I put a plug on the vacuum line and glued it with silicone so it doesn't fall out with vibrations.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Has problems

Works perfectly. easy to install and set up

Works great. easy to install and configure. To bring it closer to normal temperature, place the sensor in hot water. As it nears your operating temperature, adjust it so that only the fan turns on. Of course you need to connect a fan. Once installed in the car, it is much easier to set up.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Damaged

Runs forever?: ABS

Radiator outlet taped probe. If I set the thermostat to turn on when the temp is in the middle of the arc, the fan runs for more than 30 minutes until the temp sensor drops to COLD! When the temperature is a little higher, say on the way to overheating, the fan runs just above cold! I will try different probe placements. The thermostat is running the fan for TOO long! It stands on a single-row plastic radiator tank made of aluminum.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Clearly bad product.

But works as intended.

On my car for almost a week. I connected this box to a relay as others have warned and not directly to a fan so the box doesn't have to deal with high electrical current. It works fine, but I was hoping that the lowest setting would leave my electric fan running at a much cooler temperature. I had to set it to the lowest setting to get the fan working where I wanted.

Pros
  • Solid finish
Cons
  • Fine

Mixed bag. the best control modules

The thermostat comes in a small box with everything you could need. Fixing screws, plugs, a small bundle of cables etc. Very high quality made. However, the instructions were too basic and only explained installation steps and no testing or troubleshooting instructions. Even with this one guide everything goes fine and the fan kicks on when I need it. Would buy again.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors are here

It works but has many shortcomings.

2 stars only, really wanted to give 3 or even 4 stars but with the element that is just as important as what controls your cooling fans. He has to be near perfect to really trust him and I can't say I do. This is my second controller, I sent the first one back because I thought it was bad. I could set it to 210 (5.7 liter TBI engine) and it ran, but sometimes it wouldn't turn on until 230 or even 250. It also ran for too long when actually turned on. If it caught fire at 210, it would continue…

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Only available in white
