Cool Performance Upgrade

Using the S Blade Controls, our team found that our engine runs cooler and smoother. The controls are easy to install and adjust, offering precise temperature control. The compact design allows for better airflow and the built-in fan controller is a major plus. However, the fan noise can be slightly louder than expected. Overall, this product is a must-have for any performance car enthusiast looking to upgrade their engine cooling system.

Pros
  • Easy to use with precise control over equipment
Cons
  • Requires prior knowledge of how to operate it to maximize effectiveness

Worth the money: fan and parts

We installed this on our 86 CJ7 and it was surprisingly easy to install. No modifications required, just loosen and plug in a few screws. The fan control works great. Recommended for anyone who has problems with overheating.

Pros
  • One year manufacturer warranty
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Will not fit Jeep CJ vehicles

This product is a great idea but very poor execution. It is not intended for use in the 1974 thru 1986 Jeep CJ Series, including Scramblers. The fan blades are too wide to fit in the grille opening and the case is designed in such a way that the fan and shroud assembly does not fit between the grille brackets. This will push the fans too far towards the engine and the fan motor housings will contact the alternator and water pump pulley. Other Flex-a-lite CJ electric fans have similar reviews…

Pros
  • Bolts for original Jeep CJ7 docking points 73-86
Cons
  • Guard
