Good sound worth the effort

Great sound at a price worth the effort. I have a '99 Sub and this muffler is 5 inches shorter than stock so I had to weld on some adapters. Not a bad setup but not suitable for a beginner

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Not sure

Great sound but not annoying

Installed on my 2012 Toyota Tundra Crewmax 5.7. Toyota definitely lacks the harsh sound of its trucks. It added a great exhaust note without being too loud. I am very happy with the result, thank you!

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Some cons

Muffler with great sound!

Sounds great on my 2015 Toyota Tundra Crewmax 5.7L. Not too quiet and not too loud, but very noticeable, especially when you step on the gas! Acceleration seems a little more responsive, but I didn't notice any noticeable fuel savings. But I mainly bought it because of the sound!

Pros
  • Handy part
Cons
  • Empty

Great sound/tone, 18 " 5.7L Toyota Tundra

Cold start noticeable. After that I didn't feel any difference at idle but when I accelerate I have a growl and a roar There is a slight rumble when cruising around 1600rpm but this is acceptable (I have sensitive ears) and once it hits 2kU it goes away Everything is so great!

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Perfect amount of visor for a 2012 Tundra

Replaced the stock muffler with this 50 series and it's perfect. I was looking for some buzz and power, but nothing that would blow my neighbors away or annoy me at highway speeds. Relatively quiet when idling. This is the ticket. Overall, my truck feels more powerful and robust. I spent $70 installing it and it's worth every penny. Highly recommended. My truck is a 2012 Toyota Tundra Crewmax V8 5.7L. It justifies the engine. LFG!

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Something different

Drones under 2000 rpm

I love the sound, my torque at low revs is better and I no longer have hesitations when accelerating in my Tundra 07. It wasn't easy to install in a garage, so 100% bring it to a buy silencer because it is cheaper and less headache. The drone appears only at highway speeds at 1750-2000 rpm, and at 2500 rpm the noise disappears. This may be because I removed the last resonator after the silencer, so this can just be my situation.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Negative gift

Overall a good product, a heartbreak I went through.

Installed on a 2011 CM Tundra. Buyers beware, this is not suitable. The intakes are closer together than the stock muffler and the length is approximately 15-17 inches shorter than the stock muffler. Don't plan on doing it yourself unless you have welding skills. I ended up having to spend an extra $120 to have it welded at a muffler shop. This is after spending over $40 on additional pipes/fittings/clamps/hangers. Overall a good product, not worth the heartache I went through to install it…

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old
