Great Sound, Rusts Easily

Sounds great on my 2014 treadmill. However, after 40,000 kilometers it has already started to rust badly. Bought early 2016.

Pros
  • Deep Aggressive Sound Exhaust Note
Cons
  • Trade Item

inefficient - exhaust and emissions

slightly louder than stock muffler, plus my gas mileage dropped by three mpg. called Flowmaster tech support and got an apology. I wish there were different reviews when I bought it but thought they were a reputable company.

Pros
  • Noticeable internal resonance
Cons
  • boring package

Does not fit: muffler

said it would fit my 2000 Toyota Tundra. it is not. This is about half the length of a stock muffler and should be 2.25 inches, not 2.5 inches.

Pros
  • Race proven Delta Flow patented technology
Cons
  • Some errors

ineffective on mufflers

Slightly louder than stock muffler plus my gas mileage is down three mpg. Called Flowmaster tech support and got a response. I wish there were other reviews when I bought this but thought they were a reputable company.

Pros
  • Sturdy all-welded stainless steel body 409
Cons
  • Negative torque present

Installed this 2.4l on 97

Today I installed this 2.4l on my Meineke on my 97. Sounds damn cool at 2000 rpm, but only when driving slowly. You can't hear it at all on the freeway. Made my Lil Tacoma sound really brutal. I highly recommend the silencer.

Pros
  • Noticeable salon resonance
Cons

Aggressive sound?: Exhaust & emissions

No sound like the 40 series. I ended up fusing my exhaust to this one in front of my axle (on my V8 Tundra) and it still wasn't as loud and didn't sound aggressive in my opinion. I ended up chopping it off and installing the power stick and what a huge difference. If you want loud and aggressive sound, use PowerSticks!

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Operating speed
