Worked great until about 1 year old and it started to give way.

Worked great until about a year later it started giving incorrect readings. Called Fluke and they want $250 for a recalibration and they say the service is out of warranty. For me, a $450 tool should last a year. I've only heard good things about Fluke, but unfortunately this will be my first and last.

Excellent Test, Measurement and Inspection Item

As a retired industrial electrician, finding the right tool for the job isn't always easy. I have used all Fluke tools in the past and they were the best on the market. This article is no exception. I would highly recommend it to all active and retired electricians. If you don't have the right education and experience, you're going to get into trouble. If you need a megohmmeter but don't have a lot to do, this is cheaper but just as effective to use. The product is worth its money.

Pros
  • Great Design
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging
