Stupid dealer wanted $148 for this part plus $350 for labor. China could copy it in just 20 minutes and it took about 30 minutes to install. Some reviewers and the dealer said it didn't fit or work with my Beetle and they were wrong. Works perfectly, just plug and play. hope it lasts

Sunroof opened when I gave it gas, bought another one that locked but kept reading that the sunroof was open, this one finally solved all my problems, locks, reads, closes on a computer, opens with a remote control and a pen! PS: Be careful with the clips and be sure to remove anything that detaches from the fairing or they will keep rattling.

Next day delivery as promised. This latch looks like a direct replacement for a broken part on my 2016 Golf R. Four screws and a partial extension of the lower tailgate trim panel exposes a faulty latch. Don't be afraid of the 12-point socket head screws. Fits a 5mm Allen key. It's as easy as car DIY! Fits perfectly and solved the tailgate closing on my 2013 Jetta station wagon. Easy installation in 15 minutes thanks to the tube, I had to adjust the other side of the latch so that the sunroof closes properly. The fasteners are double hex, and I was able to use a torx and standard hex wrench on them. UPDATE: I found these are triangular shaped catches for the lock and striker plate and I need to find the correct bit to adjust the striker plate.
