This blade is a real game-changer - finally, a bit that can get through toughest of woods with unmatched precision and ease! I was hesitant to spend so much at first but was blown away by how quickly I saw results. The serrated blade helps grab onto the material, keeping it steady and reducing splintering. Don't waste your money on random things

I may have gotten a bad bit, but for the price and brand all bits should be good. For starters, the beat was incredibly boring from the start. The photos are of 4 passes up and down my abs and you can see how shallow the incision was and it was just a piece of jaw. It was hardly crushed by trials on oak. Although the diameter was accurate, the bottom of the hole was 1/16th lower on one side than the other, causing each tab to wobble in the hole. Thinking maybe my abs weren't right or a little…

No grinding required! Great beat!

To be honest, I was very skeptical about the additional price of the Freud Forstner bits. I've been using a Porter Cable Kit for years, which costs a lot less, and have been quite happy with the results. I usually had to grind, but I found it ok.
