Wow, mine broke the first time I used it.

Collet broke on first use. I've used hundreds of nozzles and none of them have broken like this. I will try to get a refund for this from Revain. Very disappointed! I ended up with my cheap craft kit, which never gave me any trouble.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Description is wrong

WRONG WRONG WRONG! Instead of Up Spiral 75-102 I got Down Spiral 76-102. The box I received has both part numbers. The box itself says "Item #76-102 Description: Solid Carb". 2. On the top of the box is a sticker showing a 1/4" (diameter) 1/4" Shank Carbide Twist Drill Bit (75-102).

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Parting off at a depth of cut of .250.

I have been a locksmith for over 25 years and a carpenter for many years. I know a lot about speeds, feeds and depths of cut. This bit broke on the second groove I used it on. Freud is a brand I have trusted in the past but was very disappointed with. I'd say it's 0.250 exactly and that's the best I can say about him.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Nice bit but I'm not a fan of 1/4 " shank bits

I've tried using this bit to cut circles with a jasper jig. Although like all Freud bits it's insanely sharp was up and working well, the noise and vibration made me nervous and cut quite slowly. For the 1 1/4" deep I couldn't find an alternative to the 1/4" rod, but for the Jasper Circular Gauge I found that the Freud 75-104 worked MUCH better with the 1/2" rod and was very easy to use. Used with a 1/8" offset jig. This is the first 1/4" jig. Shank drill I bought and used and now I know why…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Requires socket

Cuts wood like butter

No matter what power tool you use, there's one universal truth: If you install a Freudian blade (or a bit in this case), it will work better. My father used a Freud blade in his table saw for about 10 years before eventually replacing it with a newer (more advanced) Freud blade. / a burned, unbranded steel bat I had laying around. It was absolutely awful, you literally couldn't push it slow enough to avoid *massive* vibration and engine choking. (In hindsight, that's probably not good for…

Pros
  • Easy-to-read control panel
Cons
  • Minor issues

As advertised on Spiral

I will not write a complicated review as I feel there are already many reviews touching on this item. One thing I want to draw your attention to is that this is an UPCUT bit. Cutouts are better for removing debris and are ideal for router tables, typically for slotting. Downlinks are typically used when the router is in manual mode. The difference is subtle and has to do with the direction of rotation of the bit versus the material being cut. If you are interested in learning more, there are…

Pros
  • . Excellent for grooving and grooving in all composite materials, plywood, hardwood and softwood.
Cons
  • I will add later

Good attachment but not a fan of 1/4 " routers

I tried this cutter and cut circles with a Jasper circle jig. Whilst it is insanely sharp like all Freud bits and worked well the noise and vibration made me very nervous and made the cutting quite slow Given the other reviews of the club being broken I felt I was very had to be careful as I was afraid of pushing it too hard., I have found that the Freud 75-104 works MUCH better with the 1/2" shank and is very easy to use with the 1/8" compensator template ., and now I know why the pros…

Pros
  • Use on CNC and other automatic routers, as well as manual and portable bench routers
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Brilliance in Power Tool Parts and Accessories

I'm at a loss as this was my first spiralizer. 1/4" - perfect. Shoulders - no breakage, sharp edges Valley - flat And best of all, the speed of delivery - doesn't matter Can go fast, can go slow - the end result is perfection Can't tell if Freud is better or worse than other brands but I do can't imagine wanting more of what I got from this router. There was a scene in the recent film Ford vs. Ferrari where Mr. Shelby takes Mr. Ford for a spin in his prototype race car... Mr. Ford jumps in the…

Pros
