If you buy a defective device, inspect it.

I liked them for 3 weeks after purchase and they really worked. Useful for remotely tracking boats and birds in the sea. Pretty well stabilized as the boat rolls. Then the red light started blinking constantly. Changed batteries, didn't help. Even with IS disabled, manual focus is not possible. A flashing red light shows "Problem: Do not use, return TECHNO-STABI to Fujinon. I was very wary of these binoculars given that they are now $1000 and now $1299. Error when calling a real person in Fuji.

Better than Steiners for sailors!

We have always used cheaper binoculars and expensive Steiners on our 35ft and 40ft sailboats. I finally gave up and just put a pair of Fujinon 14x40 stabilized binoculars up for sale. These are the Steiner assassins. It is so easy. At 14x I see MUCH more than with the Steiners 7X50 and the image is stable. It's not even NAH. Double magnification And you get a stable image compared to traditional 7X50 marine binoculars. Whether you want to read a marker, see a boat, or watch a whale, this is the

Extremely disappointing.

I have a pair of stabilized Canons that I have owned for about 15 years and need another pair for my boat. So I thought it takes time to improve and I would try another brand. Also, Canon eats batteries, so let's try something different. no Not correct. Poorly. Stupid. They are much more than canon. Very bulky and uncomfortable in the hand, they are much heavier. And when you jam the gyroscope, it doesn't just jam, it jumps somewhere and then back to where it was, but not on it. So you have to…

WOW Factor - Binoculars

We live aboard our 46ft boat and have been constantly on the move since August 2016. These binoculars were bought as a Christmas present last year and we now have about a year and over 1500 nautical miles to test them. In summary – ANY person who picks up binoculars and presses the stabilizer button says "WOW” the first time they use it. We have another high-end unstabilized binocular on board that collects the light a bit better at dusk, but 90% of the time we use Fujinon Techno if we're not…

Fujinon IS KILL Canon IS!

I got a pair of Fujinon 14x40 Techno-Stabi binoculars and have never tried them in the past because I've always heard that the Canon IS system is better for bird watching. Well, don't believe the rumours, the Fujinon's IS outperforms the Canon's mainly because it doesn't soften when you press the IS button like the Canon does. If you compare the Fujinon IS to the Canon IS system, and I used the Canon 12x36 IS III and the Canon 18x50 IS to compare, you will find that the Canon image is softer…
