The handle just fell off. What now?

I liked everything I saw about this jack when it first came out: Strong, big parts where big parts are needed etc. But after about 6 months of ownership I noticed 2 major flaws : 1 . The crank just wasn't there after a ride.2. The part that prevents the handle from swinging freely is very poorly designed. It wears out quickly and becomes inoperable. I'm now trying to contact the company to see if they supply a replacement grip.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Super Trailer Jack - Jack

I never liked the 1200 pound jack that came with my trailer. The bottom part would fold back when picked up and the pull pin was always difficult to loosen. This new £1500 model is well built and everything works flawlessly. Also no more inclination. All 6 nuts supplied for the gear are insert type lock nuts so no wasted grips which some previous reviewers have complained about. Possibly the best trailer jack I've ever seen.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Durability

Heavy Duty Boating and Sailing

Large jack for heavy trailers. It's not like in the trailer. This jack rises faster and higher than the standard jack. It's quite tall, so make sure you have enough room to flip it over and stow it without hitting the hitch. It has better than usual rustproof coating and multiple greasing points for easy greasing. I like the pen holder so it doesn't droop in the storage position. This is a well thought out and well designed product. Seems a bit expensive.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Easy to use and has ports to lubricate moving parts

There are several things I like about this product. First, I like the ease with which a large ocean boat rises and falls. Second, I love the fact that it has greasing holes to lubricate the moving parts. Most trailer jacks I'm familiar with just remove the top cover and smear some grease on the gears. In theory, this should work much better and definitely faster. The only thing that confuses me is that the bracket doesn't attach to the trailer as tightly as my previous one.

  • Builds confidence

  • Has issues

reel handle fell off

rode a boat 1000 miles and found the reel handle was gone! I called Fulton to get a new roller grip as I've only had the jack for 2 years and it had a 5 year warranty. The support rep was snooty and told me it was my fault for not doing preventative maintenance. Told him the grip was tight when I left and left when I arrived, asked him how many miles I had to drive before I left and checked that the grip wasn't loosening. He reluctantly said he would send me a new video in the collection but…

Huge upgrade! on Boat Trailer Accessories

I bought a Fulton XLT to replace the cheap jack that came with my Tracker pontoon boat trailer that broke down in less than two seasons. As you can see from the photos, the Fulton XLT jack is about 50% larger than the jack it replaced. Everything is thicker, stronger and better built. It raises and lowers about half as much as the old jack and moves a little further with one turn of the crank. It's also very easy to screw together with the included hardware. There are also three zirconia…

Fulton XLT socket works great on Sea Ray 190 EZ Trailer

I recommend Fulton XLT socket without reservation I have previously bought a Fulton F2 socket and didn't like it. It looked a bit clunky and the wide version with one wheel was a bit difficult to turn. It has a better swivel mechanism and I find my 3000 Sea Ray 190 easier to move on a tandem axle trailer. F2 is not easy to lubricate without taking it apart. The only thing I didn't really like about the XLT is the clip that holds the handle in place. It looks like the same clamp is used on both…

A well-built jack can be a little overkill, but it's very easy to use.

This jack is very well built and well designed. The crank is larger in diameter, fits better in your hand, and feels better in your hand than the handle on cheaper jacks. Thanks to the best quality and design, the jack is very easy to use, unlike other jacks I have used. The release handle is also much easier to use. I like the bigger wheel better than the smaller twin wheels I had before. Because this jack wheel rolls much more easily on concrete or tarmac than the smaller twin wheels, you can
