Gabriel 6802SE Steering Stabilizer Review

I welded some custom brackets and added two of these for steering stabilizers on my '84 CJ7 with 36" tires. I have power steering so two work great. stable at 70 km/h.

Good quality, great price AND with PE bushings and nylon stop bolts! Spending 40-60€ on it is a waste of money. Buy this for your CJ and save extra money to fix something else that breaks!

Requires a discontinued Gabriel aftermarket fitment kit. This is a write-off as it will NOT match the cars it says will fit. I think they are just shedding inventory - be careful - don't buy!

Good quality product. but will not fit Jeep CJ OEM style steering damper brackets. Fits the universal brackets that some people use on their 4WD vehicles that don't have original brackets installed. Check the ends on your rig before ordering. I traded in for a Monroe which is a perfect OEM.

This steering stabilizer will NOT fit 81 Jeep CJ5 Renegade. The 6802SE has a bolt on both ends. My jeep has a stud on one end and an eyelet on the other. Again, this will NOT fit an '81 Jeep CJ5 Renegade, although the website says it will. Check out the MonroeMagnum version of this piece and you'll see what I mean. I really wanted a Gabriel stabilizer but their part did NOT fit my jeep. Revain gets 5 stars for customer service but only one for NOT fit.

I ordered this for my 1986 Toyota pickup; I ordered new shock absorbers and decided to replace the steering stabilizer (this product). The replacement should be complete as soon as I sent the gearbox back from repairs, and that's exactly what I did; but when I went to fix it, it didn't fit.
